SeekSacredKnowledge.com was officially launched on Friday, June
1, 2007 (15 Jumadal-Ulaa 1428). Although it appears to be a new site, it is actually the continuation of an effort that started over seven years ago, in May
2000 (with a site hosted on the MSN Groups network).

The purpose of this site is to educate and to bring people closer to Allah,
their Lord and Creator. Its goal is to enlighten, to share, to inspire, and to connect
people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and locales, all for the sake and
pleasure of Allah Almighty. The goal is clear, and the intention is firm. May Allah
accept from those that bring love and mercy to this grand banquet of knowledge
and spiritual fraternity and may He guide all that come across it to join in with a
good word, and if not, then at least with a beautiful supplication (dua) for those
that browse its pages, contribute to its growth, and provide for its maintenance.
